Danial Kooshki is an audio programmer, DSP engineer, sound engineer, composer, producer, and performer based in Glasgow, UK. With more than 22 years of experience across music performance, studio production, recording, mixing, and audio technology, his work connects musicianship with modern audio software development.
As the founder of Vexon Audio Ltd, Danial designs and develops commercial audio plugins and creative sound tools using modern C++, JUCE, and digital signal processing. His software work includes bass tone processing, optical compression, convolution and algorithmic reverb, rhythm tools, and machine-learning-based audio transformation.
Alongside software development, Danial has worked extensively as a bassist, electric guitarist, composer, producer, and mixing engineer. He is a founding member of Khardal and has collaborated with established artists across recording, live performance, arrangement, production, and mix engineering.
His current research and creative practice explore the intersection of DSP, artificial intelligence, interactive audio, and musical expression, with a focus on building practical tools that expand how musicians shape, transform, and interact with sound.
